"Creating a Select Committee on Mitchell vs. Broadnax, to deal with
issues arising from the Supreme Court decision thereon."
Resolved by the House of Delegates:
That for the remainder of the 75th Legislature, there is
hereby created a Select Committee on Mitchell vs. Broadnax, to be
comprised of not less than eleven nor more than thirteen members of
the House of Delegates, to be appointed by the Speaker.
The jurisdiction of such committee shall be limited to dealing
with issues arising from or related to the Supreme Court decision
of Mitchell vs. Broadnax.
Insofar as applicable, the Rules of the House of Delegates
shall govern the proceedings of such Select Committee.
